UD has a strong commitment to taking our students and moving them to the head of the class as tomorrow's teachers.While many of our teacher candidates seek placement within Delaware public and private schools, many also choose to teach in other states across the nation. Still more graduates are taking advantage of their training to teach abroad, Considering this,our program places a strong emphasis on pedagogical strategies that are effective across many demographics of students, as well as exposing our pre-service teachers to both state and national content standards.
