  • Year 4: The final year features AVS 4140 Airport Operations and Management (elective for emphasis), AVS 4150 International Aviation, MGMT 4640 Operations Management, and the senior capstone AVS 4100 Airline Business Plan Development, where you’ll use simulation software to create and manage a virtual airline.

  • Operational Airport Access: The program is embedded at Battle Creek Executive Airport, featuring three runways (including Michigan’s fourth-longest at 10,004 feet) and a state-of-the-art air traffic control tower—ideal for understanding airport management and operations in a live setting.
