Program Overview

The Construction Engineering undergraduate program at the University of New Mexico is designed for those who want to work in the construction industry and enjoy the status of a professional engineer. It is similar to the Construction Management program, but has more emphasis on engineering and technical courses. Students have the opportunity to work on real-life projects with mentors, such as planning and designing the construction of facilities ranging from a wastewater treatment lagoon to an 80-foot pedestrian bridge.
