The Engineering Transfer Program is designed for currently enrolled students in the Newark College of Arts & Sciences (NCAS) interested in a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. The Pre-Engineering program offered at Rutgers University Newark is in collaboration with the Rutgers School of Engineering on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus.

The Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR) is required for all current high school seniors, GED Results, Test scores: SAT, ACT, IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 550+ on the paper and pencil test or 79+ on the internet-based test, Letters of Recommendation, Essay, Financial Documentation Necessary for the I-20, International Student Adviser's Report ,
