Program Overview

Baylor's engineering program (designated as a pre-major) is ranked 11th among universities with the Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs, according to US News and World Report. The Engineering major offers two different tracks for students. The Bio-medical track includes additional courses from the bio-medical sciences and provides a strong foundation for students wishing to enter the bio-medical engineering field or medical school. The Flexible Engineering option allows students to select one of the several sets of specialized engineering courses offered through the Engineering Department.
