Program Overview

The curriculum is balanced to make you adept at designing and developing both computer hardware and computer software. In addition, throughout your computer engineering education, you will gain in-depth knowledge and skills in the design and development of many different types of computer systems: from small MP3 players to large parallel computer systems. The computer engineering program also provides 14 elective credits that you can use to augment your education with courses either from the computer science and electrical engineering program or from other programs offered on campus. Graduates are prepared for high paying employment as computer engineers or to continue their education at graduate school.The computer engineering program is fully accredited by the EAC Accreditation Commission of ABET.
