Program Overview

The study of Computer Science prepares students to deal with using and improving computers as tools for numerous applications. Undergraduates are provided with a solid core two-year track in programming, data structures and analysis. At the upper level, students choose more focused courses while undertaking relevant projects which often parallel active faculty research. Computer Science graduates move into high-tech careers as software engineers, systems analysts, technical writers, web developers, researchers, programmers, and software testers. They may also apply their computer skills to enhance careers as biologists, architects, foresters, teachers, and psychologists. In a world of rapidly advancing technology the study of Computer Science can only continue to open doors for its students.
