Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Missouri S&T provides a balanced education in computer hardware, software, and electrical engineering principles.

  • Year 3: Digital Systems, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering Core, Probability and Statistics, Technical Communication, Computer Engineering Electives begin, Mathematics Elective.

  • Year 4: Advanced Computer Engineering Electives, Engineering Science Elective, Professional Development Elective, Capstone Senior Design Project (COMP ENG 4096 & 4097), Free Elective, Additional Humanities/Social Sciences Electives.

Experiential Learning (Research, Projects, Internships etc.)

  • Senior Design Project: A two-semester capstone where students design, build, and present a functional engineering system.
