Take specialized courses in intelligent systems, embedded systems, industrial controllers and digital-image processing. Work side by side with an ONU professor on research in the field of robotics. Join the Polar Robotics Club, working with teammates to design and build robots that compete in an annual intercollegiate robotic football tournament each spring. Tackle a senior capstone project related to robotics, like designing an underwater robot or an automated golf cart. You can even land a co-op or internship at a company like Applied Manufacturing Technologies, GROB Systems or Rockwell Automation, which may lead to an offer of full-time employment.
