The Environmental Engineering program is designed to prepare students for continued learning and successful careers in industry, government, academia, and consulting. Within a few years of graduation, graduates of the Bachelor of Science program in environmental engineering are expected to: Contribute to the body of knowledge in Environmental Engineering as professionals engaged in problem-solving, design, discovery, and responsible application of technology;Further develop leadership skills by accepting increasing levels of responsibility in engineering practice, communicating in professional and civic forums, and progressing toward professional licensure.
Common Application or Universal College Application, Official High School Transcript, Letter of Recommendation, Essay, Test scores: ACT, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, International Student Financial Statement (ISFS) US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Engineering applicants are generally assessed on the strength of their preparation in advanced Mathematics and laboratory sciences, particularly Physics and Chemistry. Calculus, technical projects, robotics, engineering competitions, research and evidence of practical problem-solving can strengthen the application. Universities may also look for creativity, teamwork and the ability to apply scientific concepts to real-world challenges.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
