Program Overview

Engineering is not just about applying physics and math to solve interesting problems. Engineering is also trying to understand why we need to solve those problems, and what the consequences of choosing a particular solution are. That understanding can only happen when we have conversations with other disciplines in the humanities, economics and environmental sciences. Here at Alma, we create the spaces to have those dialogues among students and faculty.

Official secondary school transcripts, in English, provided to Alma College directly from your school, English Language Proficiency: TOEFL iBT score of 79, IELTS score of 6.5, Total SAT score of 980 or ACT score of 18, ELS Language Center Level 112, Grade of C or higher in English Composition from an accredited U.S. college/university, SAT Reading score of 500 or an ACT English score of 20 may also be utilized, international students on F-1 or J-1 visa are required to provide evidence of sufficient finances, Valid Passport copy
