To help these students, the Allen School of Engineering and Technology admits engineering students who are undecided about a major into the category General Engineering. While general engineering is not a major and students at Trine University cannot earn a degree in general engineering, this program allows students to make progress towards an engineering degree while exploring the opportunities afforded by the various engineering disciplines.
