In the mechanical engineering concentration of Messiah's engineering major (BSE), you'll learn to apply principles of engineering, physics and materials science to analysis, design, manufacturing and maintenance of mechanical systems. Courses such as Mechanics of Materials and Thermodynamics prepare you with a diverse knowledge set to apply to many different types of engineering jobs.
