BA in English Creative Writing

The creative writing minor or concentration at Messiah University, a nationally ranked Christian university, provides a unique opportunity for you to explore your creativity through exciting upper-level courses. The creative writing concentration is part of the English major; the minor may be added to other majors at Messiah. The creative writing curriculum introduces you to a breadth of writing styles, including poetry, drama, fiction, literary nonfiction and memoir writing. You will also study a wide array of literature using a variety of critical thinking and writing skills to help you become a perceptive reader, insightful thinker and responsible writer.
