The Graduate Certificate in the Teaching of Writing is an 18hour program, offered through the Prairie Lands Writing Project PLWP, for teachers wishing to meet professional development requirements as well as for postmasters candidates specializing in teaching writing Upon completion of the certificate, participants are ideally suited to fulfill leadership roles in collaborative teaching projects and in professional development offerings related to improving literacy instruction, grades K 16 The courses in the Certificate are taught by National Writing Project Teacher Consultants, and available to teachers at the reduced tuition rate of Dollar 125 a credit hour
