Program Overview

The University of Evansville's Department of Creative Writing ranks with the nation's very best; in addition to being one of only a handful of programs to offer a BFA in creative writing, it also publishes two internationally-acclaimed literary journals: Measure and The Evansville Review. Creative writing faculty are all published writers in the genres they teach, and other successful authors, editors, and publishers come to campus as guest readers, workshop leaders, and writers-in-residence.
