B.A. students in English literature at Valpo must complete the generaleducation requirements for the B.A in addition to the requirements for the major. This Universitywide core strengthens communication and criticalthinking skills while introducing the student to global cultures and traditions. Majors in English literature must also complete either a minor in their chosen field of study, or the 40credit (rather than the 33credit) major in English.

High school diploma with a GPA of 3.71, High school andor college transcripts, SAT andor ACT scores. Two professional or academic recommendation letters, 6.0 minimum IELTS with no more than two sub scores below 6.0 or 75 minimum TOEFL internetbased or 56 minimum PTE.
