The ES Major provides students with the breadth of understanding and skills necessary for resolving environmental questions and creating a sustainable future on scales ranging from local to global. Students work collaboratively on a current environmental problem, including characterizing the problem, analyzing possible solutions, implementing some solutions, and publicly presenting the results. The Department of Environmental Studies hosts regular events, open houses, and workshops about careers in ES.
