Drew University offers a nationally recognized, sustainability-oriented program of study in the environmental sciences. Environmental sustainability emphasizes solutions, integrates science with economic and social justice and is increasingly central to Drew University s academic and community identity. The major in Environmental Studies and Sustainability, supported by a generous grant from the Andrew Mellon Foundation, is unique for its emphasis on sustainability and solutions. The program is flexible so students can tailor the course of study to their own interests; or they can choose a more specialized option in environmental science or environmental sustainability.
