Our program offers both bachelor of arts and bachelor of science tracks, as well extensive opportunities for field experience, community-based projects and internships.Stetson's Environmental Science and Studies program is a diverse, interdisciplinary field encompassing art, science and policy which directly relates to agriculture, ecosystems, economics and toxicology. You will work within solid ethical and scientific frameworks to make well-supported decisions to protect natural resources, develop innovative solutions for environmental problems and exhibit bold leadership skills for environmental change.The BS program involves the study of environmental issues from a natural science perspective with an emphasis on nature conservation. The BA program involves the study of environmental issues from a social science perspective with a focus on policy and culture.Students have access to the GIS computer lab, field studies laboratory and equipment, G.P.S. and the associated labs and equipment from member departments like biology and chemistry.
