Program Overview

Based in the School of Architecture and Planning, the Environmental Studies program looks at buildings in society; their impact and how we can minimize the risk and harm our man-made creations have on our natural environment. The overarching lesson taught in Environmental Studies is stewardship while building in our environment.As an Environmental Studies major, you will take a variety of community building labs, along with architecture, biology, and engineering classes. Your classes will be interactive and provide opportunities to practice your knowledge in the field with the help of experienced faculty and instructors.
