The mission of the Environmental Sciences program is to prepare students for entry into graduate school and productive careers in environmental sciences-related occupations.
A completed admissions application. An official evaluation of all academic records from SPANTRAN. Please request a course-by-course evaluation including a GPA. An official copy of the test results from taking either the SAT I or ACT. A certificate of finance along with a bank statement bank or scholarship letter, no more than six months old, addressed to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore verifying the availability of funds to cover tuition, fees, and other direct costs associated with enrolling at the university. Official scores to confirm English proficiency IELTS, TOEFL score of 61, PTE, or Duolingo English Test. US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Science applicants are generally assessed on the rigour of their Mathematics and laboratory-science coursework. Relevant preparation may include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus or Statistics, depending on the intended field. Research, science fairs, Olympiads, laboratory exposure, independent investigation and environmental or community-science projects can demonstrate scientific curiosity and analytical thinking.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
