The environmental science program is committed to educating undergraduates for technical careers and graduate study in the diverse areas of environmental science vital to understanding, conservation and restoration of clean and healthy natural environments in the 21st century. The program has an integrated curricular approach designed around student laboratory and field investigations. The goal of this program is to give students not only knowledge about biology, chemistry, and ecology but also the ability to use the tools and skills of a scientist.
