Weber State's controls technology program allows students who are completing or have completed the industrial automation technician certification from local applied technology college programs to earn their associate's degree.
Complete Application; Official high school transcripts or GED documentation; ACT/SAT scores; Official transcripts. For English proficiency test : score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), which is not more than 2 years old and on which a minimum score of 563 (paperbased) or 85 (internetbased) with a minimum score of 17 in each section, has been earned;Applicants who complete the IELTS may have an official score report, which is not more than 2 years old and on which a minimum score of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each section, has been earned. US universities use a holistic admissions review. Beyond grades and standardized test scores, they weigh the strength of your overall profile to understand who you are as a student and a person.
Profile Assessment: Science applicants are generally assessed on the rigour of their Mathematics and laboratory-science coursework. Relevant preparation may include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus or Statistics, depending on the intended field. Research, science fairs, Olympiads, laboratory exposure, independent investigation and environmental or community-science projects can demonstrate scientific curiosity and analytical thinking.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
