The American Studies minor allows you to explore the many dimensions of the American experience by bringing together the tools from a variety of disciplines.The program is designed to expose you to a variety of different disciplinary perspectives on American culture, yet allows you to select the tools and the questions about culture that are most compelling to you.

Official secondary school transcripts, in English, provided to Alma College directly from your school, English Language Proficiency: TOEFL iBT score of 79, IELTS score of 6.5, Total SAT score of 980 or ACT score of 18, ELS Language Center Level 112, Grade of C or higher in English Composition from an accredited U.S. college/university, SAT Reading score of 500 or an ACT English score of 20 may also be utilized, international students on F-1 or J-1 visa are required to provide evidence of sufficient finances, Valid Passport copy
