Program Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies is an interdisciplinary degree program that combines the study of Asian culture and identity with a choice of three concentrations: Asia and Business; Asia and Globalization; Chinese or Japanese Studies. Students are encouraged to study abroad in Asia as a means to partially fulfill their language requirement. Information about these study-abroad programs can be obtained at the AAAS office (F03-340) or the Center for International Education.

Complete each of the courses in the comprehensive pattern of college preparatory subject requirements with a grade of C or higher prior to high school graduation.3.0 GPA or greater in college preparatory subjects, AND 3,500 minimum CSULB Index to be considered, for non-STEM major and a 3,600 minimum STEM Index for STEM majors.
