The Asian Studies department now offers a major and minor in Asian, Middle Eastern, and North African Studies (AMENA).The AMENA major brings together some of the world s most interesting and diverse regions East, South, Southeast, and Central Asia; The Middle East; North Africa; and the Indian Ocean. Together, these regions make up a vast segment of the non-Western world.
