Students pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in classical studies examine all aspects of ancient Greek and Roman civilizations that enhance our understanding of the modern world. The program covers the art, archaeology, history, religion, philosophy, and especially the language and literature of more than 2,000 years from the Mediterranean Basin into Europe, the Near East, and Africa. Offered by the Department of Comparative Literature and Foreign Languages in the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
