PLU's Nordic Studies program explores Norway as a living and changing society in today's world. Students study issues of the formation of cultural identity, recent immigration, rights of the S mi population and the rights of women in society. Through the study of Norwegian language, literature and film, the program prepares students for many careers in which skills in critical thinking, interpreting from multiple perspectives and valuing diversity are in demand.
The maximum GPA for PLU admission and financial aid purposes is 4.00, Official Transcripts and Reports, Standardized Test Scores;ACT or SAT scores; SAT1160, 24ACT minimum score, Personal Essay, and an academic recommendation.
