PLU's Chinese Studies Program is designed to provide a broad foundation in Chinese language, anthropology, religion and history, with the added opportunity to study China's philosophies, politics, arts, business, and economics. Because this emerging global superpower increasingly will influence international politics, culture and trade in the 21st century, there is a growing demand throughout the world for graduates trained in Chinese studies.

The maximum GPA for PLU admission and financial aid purposes is 4.00, Official Transcripts and Reports, Standardized Test Scores;ACT or SAT scores; SAT1160, 24ACT minimum score, Personal Essay, and an academic recommendation.
