Program Overview

The French program at Moravian University focuses on the study of language, literature, and culture of the Francophone world, and offers courses on theatre, culinary arts and poetry, business, translation, and engaging works of prose fiction. French majors are expected to study abroad in a French speaking part of the world for a semester. Emphasis is put on active discussion, critical interpretation, and fluid communication in written and spoken French.

Official secondary High School school academic records, original and certified translations, Official Test Scores SAT or ACT, If English is not your native language, you must submit TOEFL or IELTS scores, and this is required of all freshmen applicants, English Language requirements: Minimum scores for each test: IELTS: 6.5 or higher, TOEFL Paper: 577 or higher, TOEFL Computer: 233 or higher, TOEFL Internet: 90 or higher, Certification of Finances form, letter from a bank official or bank statements, Proof of Financial Support, letter of recommendation from a guidance, personal statement or essay
