Program Overview

Majors in Chinese, French, French and Francophone Studies, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish introduce the student to the language, literature and culture of the subject area. A second language may be elected to fulfill the departmental minor requirements. Other languages offered within the department include, Arabic, Hebrew, and Portuguese. Linguistics courses are also available. Students may also choose a concentration in Business. These options are designed to provide more flexibility and increase employment opportunities. We offer innovative hybrid courses and courses with online support The free computer and audio-visual lab offers extensive hours of operation for at-your-convenience individual study.
