Program Overview

Russian Studies at Wooster is an interdisciplinary program, offering courses in Russian language, literature, culture and film. Students focus on Russia and Eurasia in their cultural, historical, and political contexts, developing proficiency in the Russian language in connection with their other academic and professional interests. Russian majors and minors also take courses in the History department, and majors receive guidance from both Russian Studies and History department faculty.

Common Application or Coalition Application, Official Transcript, Secondary School Report, Teacher Evaluation, Scores from one of the following standardized tests are preferred by the Admissions Committee: ACT, SAT, minimum recommended score for TOEFL or equivalent is 80 to be considered, IELTS score is below 7, PTE Academic, or Duolingo, alternative preferred tests:IB predicted grades, Three AP exam scores at least one score must be from AP English Language or Literature, Three A-level predicted grades, WAEC results, Board Exams in India, Pakistan, or Bangladesh, Korean College Entrance Exam
