Women's Studies Program faculty come from a variety of disciplines: American Indian Studies, anthropology, English, ethnic studies, history, philosophy, and, political science. Cooperating faculty teach Women's Studies courses in their home departments: Africana Studies, American Indian Studies, Asian American Studies Anthropology, Art, Chicano and Latin American Studies, Criminology, Theater Arts, English, Public Health, History, Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology. Faculty who teach Saturday classes are community practitioners and activists who work in social service organizations that aim to empower women and girls.
