Program Overview

The goal of the events concentration within the BS program in community sports management is to introduce students to the events field and create experts in the coordination, facilitation and planning of events in the community sports sector.

This concentration allows community sports management majors to focus their electives within the area of meetings and event planning. Students gain a solid foundation for developing and producing events that contribute to the economic development and social capital stemming from sports.
