Program Overview

The sport management concentration will help you gain tangible business skills relevant to the diverse areas of sport management. You'll gain wide industry exposure while developing your own management style---all within the liberal arts context, which offers additional depth and breadth to make you a versatile employee. All courses are taught within a framework of the Christian faith, showing how the gym, field, court, office and studio can be used to live out the gospel. At Gordon, you'll be just 25 miles from Boston, home to major professional sports franchises (and you'll be encouraged but not required to become a Boston sports fan).

Additional Information & Requirements

Students must continuously maintain a 2.0 GPA within the major.The business administration major builds on a foundation of economic theory and is designed to stress the fundamentals of management, marketing, accounting, finance and quantitative methods. The graduate with this major should be well prepared for a professional career in business or for further training in business or other areas.
