Program Overview

The undergraduate Strength & Conditioning major at Ohio Northern University is one of only two majors in the Midwest region recognized by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and also as an Education Recognition Program within the 8 state region. The ERP recognizes and distinguishes schools that prepare students for NSCA certification exams. Our program combines practical, real world instruction with a challenging academic curriculum. With a foundation in the basic sciences, you'll learn about physiology, anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics and nutrition and how each contributes to improving human performance.
