As a sport studies major, you'll look at sports and other physical activity through the lens of history, psychology and sociology. In addition to studying sports history, you'll look at the role of sport in American society. Sport studies examines sport's cultural relationship with education, the economy, families, the media and politics and considers race, class and gender differences in the sport experience.
