Kinesiology is the concentrated study of human movement from developmental, mechanical, motor control, psychosocial, psychological, pathological, and physiological perspectives. The Kinesiology Movement Studies Specialization is recommended for students who wish to pursue a variety of career opportunities related to kinesiology. The Movement Studies Specialization provides a concentrated study of human movement from mechanical, physiological, and pathological perspectives. The program is appropriate for students who plan to work in the fitness or exercise industry or any other field such as coaching or rehabilitation, where human movement and exercise prescription are the focus.
