Program Overview

"Pastoring" can occur in a variety of ways---at its foundation, it involves caring for God's people and walking alongside them in their Christian formation. The pastoral ministries track will equip you to minister to the needs of the church and communicate the gospel in contextually appropriate ways. You will learn how to lead congregational ministries in living out God's Word on a daily basis, and in conveying the good news of the Christian faith to a world in need of hope.Gordon's Christian ministries faculty are committed to ensuring that you not only study about ministry during your time at Gordon, but that you engage in ministry throughout your college career in preparation for lifelong Christian service. For that reason, all Christian ministries majors complete a 400-hour practicum. And our location in historic Greater Boston opens doors for hands-on experience in unique church and para-church contexts.
