Program Overview

Prepare to faithfully and effectively work with young people in churches, Christian schools, para-church organizations and other youth agencies. The youth ministries track at Gordon will challenge you to think critically, creatively and strategically. As you prepare for a life of service in God's kingdom, you will be equipped with relevant theory and expertise in ministering to adolescents throughout their second decade of life and faith formation.Gordon's Christian ministries faculty are committed to ensuring that you not only study about ministry during your time at Gordon, but that you engage in ministry throughout your college career in preparation for lifelong Christian service. For that reason, all Christian ministries majors complete a 400-hour practicum. And our location in historic Greater Boston opens doors for hands-on experience in unique church and para-church contexts.
