History is the study of past events, and at Clark you ll examine the impact of those events on everyday life. As a history major, you ll choose an area of study United States, European or global history and use conceptual approaches, ranging from political and diplomatic to social, intellectual and cultural, to think critically about past problems and build connections to the future. A diverse curriculum offers courses that focus on every major geographical area of the world, and prepares students to impact that world with jobs in teaching, law, government, journalism and international affairs, or for further study in graduate school.
First-year Common Application, Secondary school report: along with an official high school transcript, Teacher evaluation form, SAT/ACT scores, Results from any national examinations (e.g., A levels, GCSE, WASSCE, CBSE, ISCE, CXC, CAPE, etc.), Proof of English proficiency TOEFL iBT (85 or higher overall and 15 or higher on every section), or IELTS (6.5 or higher overall and 6.0 or higher on every section), or SAT Critical Reading, SAT Evidence-Based Reading (600 or higher)and Writing section (650 or higher), ACT Reading section scores (26 or higher).
