As a history major, you ll choose an area of study United States, European or global history and use conceptual approaches, ranging from political and diplomatic to social, intellectual and cultural, to think critically about past problems and build connections to the future. A diverse curriculum offers courses that focus on every major geographical area of the world, and prepares students to impact that world with jobs in teaching, law, government, journalism and international affairs, or for further study in graduate school.

Profile Assessment: Undergraduate applicants interested in law may choose Pre-Law, Political Science, Economics, History, Philosophy, International Relations or another field. Debate, Model United Nations, mock trials, student government, journalism, advocacy, research and community service may demonstrate critical thinking and communication.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
