BA History

You will develop an awareness of global history and an appreciation for the factors which have shaped our contemporary world. Working alongside faculty who are active researchers and contributors to the field, you will gain a broad perspective and ethical framework to create change in the world.You will come to understand particular historical developments and their impact on societies and the world. You will learn to use storytelling and analysis to communicate historical events.You will master the ability to question confidently, research diligently, examine thoroughly, and communicate clearly -- skills that employers are looking for.You will dive into the arena of digital humanities with the program's partnership with the Institute for Thomas Paine Studies. Our curriculum, with a focus on techniques, theories, and methodologies, will provide the skills needed to share public history in the digital age.You will be well-prepared to make history.
