Program Overview

The liberal arts and sciences curriculum prepares a student to be an engaged, productive, and accomplished member of society. Associates in Arts degrees serve as an intellectual foundation for further study at the baccalaureate and post-baccalaureate levels, and they satisfy the credentials for entry-level positions in some career fields such as law enforcement. After earning an Associate in Arts degree, students are encouraged to continue their studies in a major and complete a four-year Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.
