At Bentley, Philosophy majors get broad exposure to liberal arts, in addition to business studies. You’ll learn to account for diverse viewpoints, solve problems and clearly articulate your ideas. The critical thinking skills you gain through a Philosophy degree can be applied directly to positions in journalism, healthcare, business or government. Philosophy majors are attractive candidates for graduate programs in law and business, too. As a Philosophy major, you will graduate with a broad knowledge of business by completing courses that are part of the Business Administration minor. You will also have the option of complementing your Philosophy major with a Business Administration major, or any other approved Bentley major, by using some of your free electives to take additional courses.

Profile Assessment: Undergraduate applicants interested in law may choose Pre-Law, Political Science, Economics, History, Philosophy, International Relations or another field. Debate, Model United Nations, mock trials, student government, journalism, advocacy, research and community service may demonstrate critical thinking and communication.Advanced Placement(AP) Guidance: AP availability depends on the student's school.
