The Medical Humanities program (designated as a pre-major) at Baylor is one of a few programs of its kind across the country. It is designed to provide a holistic education for students interested in working in the medical or healthcare field. The Medical Humanities program is an interdisciplinary study of humanities, social science and the arts. It studies how they relate to medical education and practice. Coursework is from a variety of departments including science, history, religion, philosophy, psychology and sociology.
