5-year Pastoral Degree Program

This accelerated pastoral degree program enables you to enter full-time pastoral ministry two years ahead of schedule and save between $50--90k on your education. Because it is also a scholars program, you will receive a competitive scholarship from Gordon and join a tight-knit cohort of peers. In addition to learning biblical languages, studying spiritual formation and developing a rich theological foundation for the future, you will gain entrepreneurial and business skills. Even though a church or a nonprofit may have a very different mission than most marketplace corporations, it's increasingly important for church leaders to know how to problem-solve with limited resources, create a financially sustainable budget, reach diverse audiences through digital channels and manage people well (whether that's through mediating conflict or building teams).The Dokes Ministry Scholars program, an accelerated pastoral degree program, is the perfect option for high-achieving students who have felt the call to full-time ministry or theological study. After five years in this dual-degree program, you will receive a Bachelor of Arts in either biblical studies or Christian ministries from Gordon College and a Master of Divinity or Master of Arts from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (a top 10 evangelical seminary that's produced Christian leaders like Timothy Keller and Diana Butler Bass). Even though you will be taking courses that apply to both degrees, you will be on schedule to graduate from Gordon in four years with the rest of your undergraduate class.
