Journalism is the study of gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting of news and information through various mediums. Students will develop a solid foundation in the liberal arts and sciences while achieving competency in journalism. Within the degree program, students can choose an emphasis in Convergence Journalism. Convergence Journalism focuses on the multimedia and multi-platform storytelling through a converged core that includes reporting, editing and producing, and marketing of converged media.
