The Media, Culture, and Communication/Global Public Health (MCC/GPH) combined major bridges the sociological, political and cultural aspects of communication technologies and systems with public health principles in order to effectively examine strategies for improving the health of populations around the world. Students study a variety of topics such as epidemiology, media culture, politics, health policy, technology, and ethics.
