Bachelors in Media, Culture and the Arts

4 Years On Campus Bachelors Program

Clark University

Program Overview

As an MCA major, you will commit to rigorous engagement with both hands-on practice and written scholarship in at least two of the following areas: art history, music, screen studies, studio art and theatre arts. The major allows you to engage with histories and theories of media in these areas, while you learn to produce creative works that interrogate these traditions. You'll examine cultural formations created and disseminated on many scales, by individuals as well as media industries, and the ways in which these forms of communication resonate in everyday life, on personal, local, national and global levels
